Energy Sustainability Conference in Nigeria

The subject of Energy Sustainability is one that concerns every citizen of the world today as different forms of energy facilitate our everyday activities. However, these activities either depletes or sustains our energy future.

To this end, the Energy Institute Nigeria has put together an Energy Sustainability Conference (ESC) to lend its voice among other energy players in Nigeria and the African Energy space to chart a pathway for a sustainable energy future.

2 Conference sessions, 3 Afternoon break-out Sessions, Cocktail Reception & Conference Dinner.

Energy Dynamics: Current Issues & Policy Options.

Session Topics
1. Oil & Gas: Nigeria Post-Petroleum Industry Reforms
2. Renewables: Accelerating Renewables Uptake in Nigeria
3. Power: Growing and Stabilizing Nigeria’s Electricity System

The conference considers energy dynamics from various perspectives of the energy mix.

Specialist sessions will divide the energy mix into the various forms of energy; Oil & Gas, Power and Renewables and then conclude with “the convergence” where there will be an attempt to identify a roadmap to a sustainable energy future.

Nearly 250 delegates attended the Energy Sustainability Conference 2018 hosted by the Energy Institute Nigeria where leaders from the African energy sector shared their wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise in a full-day conference with break out sessions in the Oil & Gas, power and renewables.

The ESC is positioned to give a broad view to sustainable Energy for Africa.
